Back to Nick's ReviewsOkay, let me start out by saying that I, personally, do not have a lap, but that shouldn't stop me from writing this review... Laptop Desk Futura is an ugly name, but a nifty product. When I first took it out of the box, it weighted next to nothing (a mere 16.5 ounces):
Doesn't look like much, does it? When you open it up, it looks like twice as much not much:
But it handily fits a keyboard:
That's nice, but that's not the real beauty of this thing. What it really is all about starts with this little inner "tongue" thingy that lets you prop the Futura open at an adjustable angle:
Set it up, and the Futura suddenly comes into its own - you can use a laptop on your lap comfortably and easily, with the keyboard at an ergonomically correct angle:
And even more interesting, for those of us with tablet PCs, the Futura keeps your system at a perfect angle for writing!
