Still waiting on my advisors to tell me if the survey I want to send out is acceptable to them…
I need to do a survey for my Capstone. I could use Survey Monkey or something of that ilk. I could use the survey software that RIT has. But I think I’ll use Google Forms. Not only is it very, very versatile, but it makes very pretty graphs.
Oooh… shiny…
It’s clearly true that someday Google will own all of the data on Earth. And, as long as they really believe in “Don’t be evil,” we’ll be okay.
For now.
Well… that was rather obligatory, wasn’t it?
This site is many things, but right now, as I concentrate on getting my Master’s Degree (why wait until the last minute?), I’ll be chronicling my journey through my Capstone Project.
The plan is to look at education in virtual environments. I’ll be focusing on Second Life (SL). My hope is to talk to various educators in SL, learning about what they think of the environment for teaching in their particular discipline, what tools they use, etc. I also hope to make a modest (extremely modest!) contribution to the available tool set. Then I will publish my work, and immediately become insanely wealthy and stunningly famous.
At least, that’s the plan…
